Free Resources

So - why do we give away stuff instead of charging for them? We realize that there is a danger in this. No, the danger is not that we will go broke. Our Lord provides for us, and as we seek to bless His people and call sinners to come to Christ, we do not doubt that He will continue to provide. The danger is that some people tend to despise that which costs them nothing, and consider it of little value. In spite of this we feel we are called to provide resources for those who truly love God's Word and desire to serve as ministers of Jesus Christ.

God has given us a special place in our heart for those in underdeveloped countries who have little money and almost no Bible resources. Many African pastors, for example, have libraries that consist of one Bible and maybe one other Christian book. They cannot possible afford to pay the equivalent of five or six dollars per CD to listen to Bible teaching messages. With our free devo program it is our desire to provide quality Bible teaching for all who want it. The only thing needed is access to a computer which can access the Internet. And with the rise of the "Cyber-cafes" even most of the poorest people can now have that access.

Of course these teachings will benefit Americans just as much as Africans or Filipinos. And we have discovered that in many cases, the folks living in the more prosperous nations are willing to help support this effort by sending us generous contributions. In a sense the financial side of this ministry is based on the Scriptural concept expressed in 2 Corinthians 8:

…but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack --- that there may be equality. As it is written, "He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack." (2 Cor 8:14,15)

In any case whether you have little or much, whether you want to help support us or not give anything at all, the major production of this ministry, the devotional articles / recordings are available to you. Our prayer is that, if you are a believer you may be richly nourished by them, and if an unbeliever, you may find through them the greatest knowledge any man or woman can ever gain - the knowledge of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

What we provide.

Over years of ministry it has become apparent that God has placed a special blessing on relatively short articles that Dennis writes, most of which are in essence miniature Bible studies. Some are bios of Christian leaders of the past. These messages are "bite-sized." They are long enough to give you a solid grasp of their particular truth, and yet short enough to be read or listened to in a few minutes. You can see a listing of all our current devo articles / recordings on our Devo Catalog page.

Not all people are readers. Some do not like to read and some simply find reading a great struggle. For this reason, the written word has its limitations. In many people's cases they can learn far better and more comfortably by listening to someone share a message than by reading that same message. For this reason we produce these devotional articles in both written and audio format.

Both the written and the audio (mp3) version of these devotional articles may be downloaded onto your computer. The audio mp3 versions can be played on your computer as well. This enables you to play a devotional, minimize it, and then do other work on your computer while you listen to the teaching. The list of devos grows larger with nearly every passing week, and as the Lord permits and enables, Dennis would like to eventually produce over 1,000 of them. They cover subjects of nearly every imaginable Bible topic, and can give you a solid understanding of evangelical Christian theology.

The mp3 format of the devotional messages can be conveniently listened to in your car player as you drive to work, or played with your IPOD or other mp3 players as you exercise or walk. These audio devos are normally about 12 minutes long. Listen to one each day for several months and you just may find yourself understanding God's Word better than ever before, and growing "in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

One further resource we provide are outlines related to most of the Bible-teaching devos. These are designed to help Bible teachers and pastors prepare messages on these various subjects. Of course we would expect and hope that you would alter and personalize them to fit you and your audience, but we feel that can provide a good starting point of reference for teachings these Bible truths. We provide them to you to do with as you will, for the glory of God.

Because our list of available devos is long and grows longer every month, we have provided a convenient "Latest Devos" page which will reveal at a glance the newest devos we have produced. By checking this page every couple of weeks you can keep up with us, and make sure that you do not miss a single devotional. Also make sure and enter your email address in the form below so that you will receive notices about new devos, and other special resources that are currently available.

We are convinced that if you love the Word of God, you will love our Devo program. We are not speculative, nor do we attempt to amaze or wow you with far out ideas with very little basis in Scripture. It is our desire to provide the sheep of Jesus with good, sound, healthy food. Your mother probably used to tell you when you were small: "Eat your vegetables; they're good for you!" This is our attitude toward the Word of God, and our proclamation of it. And our great desire is to make Jesus Christ central to all that we teach. Jesus is more than a message for the sinner; He is Living Bread for the believer. He is our strengh and our life, our hope and the Source of our fruitfulness.

May our Lord Jesus Christ fill you with all righteousness, peace, and joy as you abide in Him and in His Word!

Missions Outreach

A major part of Spirit of Grace Ministries is our ministry in the great continent of Africa. There is a tremendous harvest going on in the world these days, and we are privileged to be a part of it. Above is a brief music video featuring video clips and pics from our recent mission in Nigeria in Oct/Nov, 2019.

Audio Devo: "Why is there suffering?"

People have debated this question for millennia. And we cannot speak concerning specific individual questions of suffering, but the Bible clearly speaks as to why suffering has always been a part of the human experience.
