Latest News (and Random Thoughts)
(10/07/25) September and October have been busy months for me, with more than a little drama and great blessings. In early September I drove to Hitchcock, Texas where I preached and taught the believers at Gulf Coast 4-Square Church. It was a blessed time. I have known the pastor for around thirty years and have always admired his zeal for the Lord and for souls. I was blessed to be able to go to the Galveston prison with him and teach the Christian prison ministers basic principles of evangelism.
It wasn’t long after I returned home that I heard the terrible news of the killing of Charlie Kirk. What a wonderful Christian leader he was! Our nation will greatly miss this charismatic, young man of God.
Later in September I had cataract surgery on my left eye. It was very successful, thank the Lord. I can now see out of that eye better than I could when I was 12 years old. The world is so much brighter and clearer to me after this surgery. Greens are greener, reds are redder, and everything is just so beautifully clear. And I never knew we had such a sharp, bright television! What amazing technology we have, for skilled eye surgeons to be able to remove the natural lens of the eye, and replace it with an artificial lens that does so well. I don’t know how much longer I have on this earth, but it is comforting to think I should be seeing well for the rest of my days!
(8/22/25) We recently completed yet another JESUS CONFERENCE in Kakamega, Kenya. This was our biggest attendance yet, with around 150+ coming every day. As is usual, these pastors, teachers, evangelists, and church leaders were extremely attentive and really appreciated the teachings, fellowship, and the food that was provided.
Many of the attendees knew Benedicta and me from our previous ministry in Kenya and were eager to hear more from us. Three ministers came all the way from Uganda to attend this four-day conference. The feedback was so positive! One pastor said, “I now know how to evangelize. I was doing it all wrong by not emphasizing Jesus in my ministry.”
Most African ministers do not have Bible College training. They know how to preach, they can get up and speak without difficulty, but they have little training in the theology of the New Testament. This JESUS CONFERENCE cannot be a total fix for this, but it can help! And it is helping. Thanks for your generous donations to Spirit of Grace Ministries that enables us to train God’s servants in Africa and instructs them in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In addition to the video conference, we provided a free medical clinic for all the local people that needed attention, and also distributed food to the widows. Below are four pictures from our latest mission in Kakamega, Kenya.
(7/16/25) Last night I was blessed to enjoy a teaching evening with my former mentor, boss, and the founder of Lamb & Lion Ministries, David Reagan. Dave has been such a blessing in my life and I love that at the age of 87 (I think) he hasn’t lost a beat. He still preaches and teaches with the same effective anointing as he has done throughout his ministry. At the end he called me up to say a few words and it was a great blessing to be on the platform with him once again. I started working with Dave in the summer of 1993.
Needed: Friends of this ministry
We need your help! If you are blessed by the teachings, articles, devos, and missions emphasis of this ministry, please consider making a generous donation to Spirit of Grace Ministries. We are not a church; we do not receive offerings from members every Sunday. Nor would we dare ask offerings from the poor Africans to whom we minister in our overseas missions. We must depend upon tender-hearted American believers like you to help us carry on this work Christ has called us to do in feeding His sheep, equipping His servants, and proclaiming His gospel to the lost. Your donations are needed and greatly appreciated!

Audio Devo: "Why is there suffering?"
People have debated this question for millennia. And we cannot speak concerning specific individual questions of suffering, but the Bible clearly speaks as to why suffering has always been a part of the human experience.
Missions Outreach
A major part of Spirit of Grace Ministries is our ministry in the great continent of Africa. In the above video Dennis shares exciting news about a recent mission which involved our “JESUS CONFERENCE,” plus a free medical clinic, and the provision of food for local widows in Bungoma, Kenya.
